About Anish
I want to teach because I was in the same position as you, before the 11+, nervous but willing to put in the effort if I was given tailored guidance. I also have a slight speech impediment and so I want to prove that even though we face challenges, it is still possible to succeed in school, like myself. Got offers from St Pauls for Boys, Haberdasher's Askes, City of London for Boys, Queen Elizabeth. Currently top set in English in Year 10 working on my GCSE's

Lessons aimed at kids in Yr 3-6, looking to pass the 11+, honing in on their creative writing skills and encouraging them to think differently and thoughtfully in order to answer comprehension questions. Even helping the student develop a newfound passion for reading. Also suitable for any children starting secondary school- who are looking for a recap on fundamentals, or tips to get them to the top of their class

I was a bit unwilling at the start to put my son Suman through tuition but upon joining the introduction lesson i knew he was right for him. He was very polite, respectful and engaged in teaching. He was ontime to every call and was thorough with his methods. Suman has been with him since year 4 (he is now nearly done with Year 6) and I am proud to say that thanks to Anish he has received offers from Saint Olaves, Tiffin Boys and Sutton Grammar School. I find the rate of £12 to be very fair and I would pay more if Anish accepted it. Very trustworthy and a sweet boy. Would highly recommend

Details
Time in lessons is best spent pinpointing weak areas and engaging my student fully in learning. Classes are an hour long. I encourage my students to read texts out loud, to help build confidence in speaking. I give my students 40-45 minutes of homework, and ask them to send this in to me before the next lesson. This way, I can identify their uncertainties to work on in following lessons. I also encourage students to be proactive in their learning, and come to me with any topics they might struggle with.
