!Hola amigos! I am Kushali. I have been teaching Spanish autonomously for the past 8 years and below are a few reasons why you should consider hiring me as your Spanish tutor:

1. MY APPROACH: Every student is different, and I understand that a one-size-fits-all approach to teaching doesn't work. That's why I take the time to get to know my students, their learning style, and their goals, and tailor my lessons accordingly.

2. MY EXPERIENCE: With [8] years of experience teaching Spanish, and Dele B1 and B2 certifications, I have the expertise to guide students of all levels through every aspect of the language, from grammar and vocabulary to conversation and culture.

3. REAL WORLD RELEVANCE: I believe that language learning should be practical and relevant to real-life situations. That's why I incorporate current events, cultural topics, and practical exercises into my lessons, so that my students can apply their Spanish skills in the real world.

4. SPANISH IS NOT BORING: Learning a new language can be challenging, but it can also be fun and rewarding. As a tutor, I bring a contagious enthusiasm and passion for Spanish language and culture to every lesson, inspiring my students to learn, grow, and succeed.

What sets me apart from other teachers is my ability to make the classes as engaging as possible. But that's not all - having stayed in Spain for more than a year, I have gained valuable insights and experiences that I use with my students.

Whether you're looking to learn Spanish for travel, work, or personal growth, I will create a personalized curriculum that will suit your unique needs and goals.

So, are you ready to speak Spanish like a pro?

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

    Oh, I love this memory!

It takes me back to 2016. I was in my first year at Delhi University, full of curiosity and no idea where life would lead me. I've always been ambitious and wanted to do something different. My love for Spanish Netflix shows and songs sparked my interest in the language. I started researching how to learn it, who the best teachers were, and that's how I found my people.

Fast forward to today. I've had the joy of learning and teaching so many beautiful souls. 18-year-old Kushali would've never imagined this journey.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

My teachers' positive feedback was my biggest motivation to start teaching Spanish. As a student, I was always curious. I asked a lot of questions and never hesitated to speak in front of the class. My teachers noticed that spark in me.

I still remember so clearly when I got my first student seven years ago, an 11-year-old girl who wanted to learn Spanish. The joy I felt after that class was something else. That moment made me realize this is what I truly want to do.
  • How does your work help society?

I think my work helps society in a small but meaningful way. I teach Spanish, and while it may seem like just a language, it opens up a whole new world for my students, whether it's for travel, work, study, or just confidence. I've seen shy kids start speaking fluently, adults finally pursue a long-time dream, and even students land jobs because of this skill.

It feels good to know I'm not just teaching grammar. I'm helping people grow, feel empowered, and connect with the world in a new way. (BTW: it's the second most spoken language in the world)
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

Honestly, I can't pick just one role model. I feel like I'm a mix of all the lessons I've learned from my teachers over the years. My teaching style is shaped by everything I experienced as a student.

But if I had to name one person, it would be Miss Carolina. She was one of my professors, and she truly went out of her way to help me learn Spanish. From taking me to cultural shows to give me a real feel of the language, to constantly pushing me to do better, she played a huge role in my journey, and I'll always be grateful for that.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

When I'm not teaching, I'm usually listening to music. Art and books help me relax deeply. And while I'm not a chef, I love cooking, it's my form of therapy.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

Yes, there's one moment I'll never forget. A few years ago, I was teaching a teenage student who had zero confidence in herself. She'd often say, "I'm just not good at languages." But I saw potential in her, she was curious, observant, and had this quiet determination.

We kept working together, slowly and steadily. I remember the day she held a 10-minute conversation entirely in Spanish with me, without stopping or switching to English once. When she finished, she just looked at me and said, "Did I just do that?" and we both laughed.

That moment was so pure. It reminded me that teaching isn't just about the subject, it's about making people believe in themselves. And that's what keeps me going.
