About Anish

I am a maths fanatic. I study at the Manchester Grammar School and I have a year's experience of tutoring maths. I often have students tell me that I explain concepts clearly, and teach them in a way where they not only exceed in school (such as moving up to the top set) but also spark their interest in the subject. I believe maths education should be available to all and so I ensure my prices are affordable. My hourly rate is £20 for GCSE students and £15 for KS3 and primary school students.

About the lesson

I teach high school students of all levels from year 11 and below. Ensuring my students are fully equipped for school exams while also creating a learning environment that allows the student to appreciate and enjoy the subject is what I pride myself in being able to do. I regularly provide students with maths-related resources (such as videos, articles, or facts) to not only ensure they have a solid idea of the "bigger picture" in maths but to also teach in a way to start a love for the subject. I use a "Windows Surface" tablet for my online sessions, all the lesson notes are written directly onto Microsoft OneNote for ease of access after lessons. My streaming platform of choice is Zoom; however, I am open to using other platforms such as Skype or Google Hangouts.
