About Pari

Alongside my clinical role as a CV&T ward based pharmacist, I also have taught prescribing to medical students at university level. My teaching is shaped by real-world clinical experience, so I can show you not just what to do, but why it matters for patient safety. I know calculations and prescribing can be a source of stress whether that's in exams or on the wards and I take pride in creating a safe, supportive learning environment where you can ask any question without judgement. Students describe me as non-judgemental, patient and encouraging. I adapt my lessons to suit your pace and goals, so whether you’re aiming to pass an assessment, prepare for clinical placements, or simply feel more confident, you’ll get the guidance you need. I believe that learning works best when it’s collaborative, practical, and tailored to the individual - and that’s exactly what I offer.

About the lesson

I teach pharmaceutical calculations and practical prescribing in a way that is structured, and tailored to you. We will break down complex concepts into simple, logical steps, using real-life clinical scenarios so you can see exactly how your learning applies in practice. I use a mix of worked examples and discussion to make sure every concept is understood. Sessions are typically 60 minutes but can be adapted. Every session is built around your needs, whether that’s mastering infusion calculations for exams, improving your awareness of drug interactions, or building confidence for clinical practice. I’m a registered hospital pharmacist and independent prescriber, specialising in cardiovascular and thoracics. I have been qualified 5+ years and have formal experience teaching at university level to medicine students. My lessons are suitable for: medical, pharmacy, and nursing students, healthcare professionals preparing for prescribing assessments and anyone needing to refresh their calculation skills or prescribing knowledge .All sessions are online, so you can learn from anywhere. I’ll adapt the content to match your syllabus and goals as no two students are the same.
