About Nicky
Qualified in horticulture and permaculture, I currently manage 2 community gardens in London, where I plan the garden schedules, design and deliver volunteer sessions, social horticulture groups and workshops/short courses. I particularly enjoy delivering workshops and courses, and love meeting others who are enthusiastic to learn more about horticulture and permaculture, whatever stage of your learning you are at!

I hold an RHS Level 2 Certificate in Practical Horticulture and a Permaculture Design Certificate. I have 10 years' experience working in these fields, including running my own garden maintenance business and managing 2 different community gardening projects in London. I have experience designing and delivering social horticulture groups. I can offer face to face or online lessons depending on location. Particular specialisms I can offer are listed below but this isn't an exhaustive list so do get in touch if you don't see quite what you're looking for but think I might be able to help!
- All aspects of permaculture.
- Growing fruit and veg using organic/regenerative methods, including planning a garden.
- Soil health, no dig gardening and composting.
- Pruning.
