About Samantha
I am a Queen's University Alumni who graduated from the English department with a BA(H) and MA in English Language and Literature. Although I specialized in 19th century Gothic Eco Criticism, I am educated on the many time periods within the literary canon. I hope to pursue a teaching degree and PhD in the future!

I take my teaching methodology from Pokemon's theme song: "You teach me; I teach you". I believe teaching is best executed when understood as something one cannot do without knowing the students (their backgrounds, their strengths, their weaknesses, how they prefer to learn). The best lesson is given at the students pace. How can I make this lesson accessible, how can I make learning enjoyable and how can I make this lesson applicable are all questions I ask myself before, during and after each lesson.
