About Emma
I’m a friendly, reliable tutor who is passionate about helping students succeed in politics. As a current student at the University of Edinburgh and with experience supporting GCSE and A-Level students, I understand what examiners are looking for and how to help you improve.
I create a supportive, professional environment where you can ask questions freely and build confidence. My goal is to make lessons clear, engaging and tailored to you, so you feel fully prepared and capable going into your exams.

As a tutor, I will focus on providing students with clear explanations, structured lessons and ways to build their confidence. I will simplify and break down complex political ideas and tailor sessions to each student’s exam board and needs, with a strong focus on exam technique and essay writing.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and include recap, teaching and exam practice with feedback. I have experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level politics and a strong academic background in the subject. My lessons are for GCSE and A-Level students of all abilities, from those needing support to those aiming for top grades!
