About Carol
I have an excellent knowledge of the standards needed at all school levels and in University study from Undergrad, through to Postgraduate Taught and Research. I have worked for over 20 years in Higher Education and before that in Secondary Education. I have always followed ethical and professional guidance which is essential to teaching and have qualifications in supporting neurodivergent students in their studies

My approach is to establish what you need to learn and what your goals are. We then work together to plan ahead and to establish week to week goals. Lessons can cover all aspects of English - grammar, language learning, reading and evaluating literature, planning and writing essays and dissertations. A lesson would normally last for 50 mins but can be longer if needed. I have over 20 years' experience as a teacher and tutor and 5 years' experience supporting neurodivergent students.
