About Kate
I am a graduate from the University of Western Australia (UWA) with a bachelor in Philosophy and French, with honors in French philosophy. In 2027 I will begin my PhD in philosophy.
After graduating in 2024, I became a tutor in philosophy for UWA, teaching in applied ethics. I currently tutor at Monash University in ethics.
I also undertook a research role with UWA business school in 2025, researching in the history of political economy, and translating relevant French historical texts.
Since graduating I have only taught at a tertiary level, however during my undergraduate degree I was a high school teaching assistant and private tutor.
In 2023 I was a French assistant teacher at Perth Modern High School, WA's only academically select school. I taught French across all year groups and helped with ATAR preparation.
From 2021-2023 I worked as a tutor for ACES education, teaching primary and high school English. I have experience working with children with autism, ADHD and dyslexia.
I also have worked as a private tutor, tutoring in ATAR philosophy, literature and English.

I offer personalized tutoring sessions catered to your desired outcomes. We can write essays together, I can help edit your work, we can go through class content and increase understanding and reading comprehension.
I teach at a tertiary level for those needing help with humanities units at University, and have experience teaching in high schools, for students needing help with English, Literature and French (ATAR or otherwise).
Tutoring sessions can be 1-2 hours depending on needs.
