I am a University of Toronto graduate with an Honors Bachelor of Arts in English and the social sciences, where I earned a place on the Dean’s List. I also have more than five years of experience tutoring and mentoring students across different ages and academic levels.

My approach as an English tutor is supportive and tailored to each student’s learning style, needs, and goals. I explain concepts clearly using examples, guided exercises, discussion, and constructive feedback. I work alongside the student throughout the lesson, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions and fully understand each concept before moving forward.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material, followed by an introduction to the day’s topic. Depending on the student’s needs, we may work together on reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, homework, or essay writing. For writing lessons, I guide the student through brainstorming, organizing ideas, developing a thesis, structuring paragraphs, and revising their work.
What sets me apart is my strong academic background. I graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honors Bachelor of Arts in English and the Social Sciences, earning a place on the Dean’s List. I also have more than five years of experience tutoring and mentoring students of various ages and academic levels.
