About Aryan

I'm a grade 11 student who is currently taking math at a grade 12 level (advanced functions). I have about 2 years experience teaching children and teenagers martial arts, and frequently help classmates and friends with their work.

I'm looking into tutoring because I personally enjoy the experience of helping someone learn a new skill. I'm also looking to reinforce my own learning and fundamentals going forwards and increase my confidence.

About the lesson

Lessons are aimed for Canadian/American students from Grade 5 to Grade 10, primarily in Math and the sciences. Can also teach US history or French if needed, as well as English essay/assignment help.

Each lesson can be of any duration requested. My schedule is flexible and open, and other than Friday nights, I am free.

Typically, I'll start a lesson with answering any questions the pupil has. We will then work together on questions the student has been assigned from their teacher. If there are no problems assigned, then I will find some from the curriculum corresponding to your district. I ask that all marks and test marks are shared with me so that we can judge the pupil's weakest and strongest areas. After the pupil receives a mark, we will take up the assignment together, ensuring that they are able to do better next time. I also offer test/exam review lessons. I also may assign practise questions if I feel that it is needed to attain a certain goal. I am in favour of the idea of getting ahead, so I am able to lecture your student on approaching topics to prepare them for future developments in their education.

As a high school student, I consider myself closer to the pupil than most other people on this website who are in university. I am also very flexible with my schedule because of this. I personalise my lessons strongly to the pupil's abilities and goals. I am also a high achiever, and have gotten the honour roll award at my school 2 years in a row, and am on track to achieve it this year as well. I currently have a semester average of 94.5.
