Hello! I’m a passionate and experienced tutor specializing in writing, language arts, research methods, and psychology. I hold a degree in Psychology with a Pre-Law concentration and a minor in Criminal Justice from Duquesne University, where I graduated with Honors through the University’s Honors College in 2025. I’m currently enrolled at Duquesne’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law. My academic background is paired with extensive leadership experience. I love helping students break down complex concepts, strengthen their writing, and build confidence in their academic abilities. Each lesson is personalized to the student’s learning style and goals, with a plan for building skills and tracking progress. My Writing Workshops guide students through brainstorming, outlining, drafting, and revising, with a focus on structure, clarity, and argument strength. I also teach active reading strategies to help students analyze and interpret texts which is especially useful for test prep, English, literature, and psychology. Research lessons include finding credible sources, structuring papers, and APA citation. For psychology, I simplify complex theories using real-world examples, memory aids, and visual tools to support retention and understanding.
