I've recently received my Bachelors of Arts in Biology with a background in Botany, Environmental Chemistry, and Biological Psychology. I have years of experience in areas of academic research & industry science and have a passion for a wide range of topics.
Having attended a school that does not provide a GPA, I understand the importance of competing with yourself academically. It's not enough to score as high as (or higher than) your peers-- it's essential that you continue to best yourself!

Proficiency comes easiest when partnered with engagement.
Following the increasingly popular "flipped-class" method, I prefer to have co-learners (we all have more to learn!) complete a reading and short problem assignment before meeting.
Meetings/ calls will be conducted for further clarification on concepts and mechanics the individual is struggling with. Instead of solely "studying for the test", we will also explore questions the individual is particularly interest in to maintain interest and engagement in the subject. Visual learning, critical thinking, and understanding are emphasized while memorization and regurgitation take a backseat.
