About Yi Ting

I'm a proud Hong Kong native who's lived here my entire life, so Cantonese and Mandarin are truly in my blood! When I'm not teaching, you'll find me exploring new places around the world. I'm a total travel enthusiast who loves discovering different cultures and connecting with people. There's something magical about learning how different communities live, eat, and celebrate life. Speaking of eating... I'm a serious foodie! From Hong Kong's famous dim sum and egg tarts to street food adventures wherever I travel, I believe food is one of the best ways to understand a culture. (And yes, we'll definitely talk about food in our lessons!) Music is another passion of mine. Whether it's Cantopop, Mandopop, or discovering new sounds from around the world, I think music and language go hand in hand. I love sharing my language and culture with others because I know how exciting it is to connect across cultures! Teaching gives me the chance to help you discover the richness of Chinese language and Hong Kong's unique vibe. Let's learn together and have fun along the way!
