I prefer to teach face-to-face. Every time when I am attending the class, I will definitely to have a topic to discuss with the fellow students. For example, today teaches the opening words/sentences when we gathered to people, tomorrow will teach the closing words/ sentences when we dismiss. The meaning of the opening words in English, will be " hey, what's up", " how are you"; closing words will be " see you next time", " have a good day" . It looks like simple, but when you really want to learn Chinese language, you will find it very difficult if you just learn by yourselves.
I was a graduated student in the University of Waikato. I have been giving private lessons in Hong Kong since 2017. But at that time, I mainly tutored Mathematics and English, now I have full confidence teaching Mandarin and Cantonese. Apart from English, Mandarin is being mainly used in Auckland and Wellington, as there is a heaps of Chinese staying there.
