About Katrina
I am a homeschool mom of four with years of hands-on teaching experience across multiple grade levels and learning styles. Two of my children have gone on to make the President’s List in college, and my other two have also excelled in math.
I enjoy helping students move from frustration to understanding and love seeing the “lightbulb moment” when a concept finally clicks. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on breaking math into clear, manageable steps that build both confidence and understanding.

My lessons focus on building understanding and confidence in math. I break problems into simple steps, teach clear problem-solving processes, and help students recognize patterns so math feels less intimidating.
I use a patient and encouraging teaching style and especially enjoy helping students who feel overwhelmed or frustrated with math. I have experience teaching multiple grade levels in a homeschool setting and specialize in elementary math through Algebra 1.
