About Blanca
My name is Blanca Breen, recently moved to Ireland. I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (BSc) and a Master’s degree in Environmental Chemistry. I worked with the pharma industry for several years where I was in charge of preparing the required documents for EPA and training the personnel within the Environmental Department. After 13 years working with the pharmaceutical industry, I resigned to dedicate my time to the early years of my children's development. In more recent years I have discovered other skills and passions I never imagined I had and expanded my experiences through volunteering at my Community Library and also tutoring middle school kids. I am a very committed, patient, and positive person. I’m fluent in 2 English and Spanish, being Spanish my native language. I’m not very long in Ireland and am looking for a new challenge and am eager to apply my knowledge and passion to work with young people.

Since every student is very particular to learn and has different interests, I like to combined various methods to engage the student and help him to view and understand the topic clearly. In the beginning, I do an assessment to help me identify the strengths or needs of the student then I can combine games, videos, readings, worksheets, and other tools to explain the subject in a better way. In addition, I like to review the subject constantly.
