About Ernest
Music creation started for me in a cramped bedroom where I realized technology was just an instrument. I admit that my early recordings were quite noisy and completely lacked professional polish. Belmont University gave me the formal training to refine those raw ideas into clean digital audio signals.
Over 10 years of experience have solidified my approach to teaching production fundamentals like EQ and compression to artists everywhere. I emphasize the importance of understanding reverb and delay to create space in a dense mix.
Sampling and looping are tools I use to break through creative ruts. My background includes helping clients organize bus and group processing for better workflow speed.
I find that arrangement and song structure often dictate the success of a final exported project. Helping you prepare files for release is the final step in our journey together. Mastering the basics of a home studio setup remains my favorite way to empower independent musicians. I genuinely enjoy hearing how your sonic identity evolves throughout our time working together.
