About Emma

I am a passionate piano instructor with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and over six years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. My own journey with piano began as a child, and what started as curiosity quickly turned into a lifelong pursuit of musical expression. That personal connection to music drives me to help others discover the same joy, confidence, and discipline that the piano can bring. Over the years, I’ve worked with beginners learning their first notes as well as more advanced students preparing for performances or examinations. My teaching blends traditional techniques with modern, student-centered approaches that make lessons both structured and engaging. I believe in guiding students to develop strong technical foundations while also encouraging musical exploration and creativity. Beyond the notes on the page, I love helping students connect emotionally with their music. I introduce them to a variety of genres and composers, aiming to expand their appreciation for the instrument and the art form. Whether it’s a classical sonata, a contemporary pop piece, or an original composition, I strive to make each lesson meaningful and inspiring. Teaching piano is not just a profession for me—it’s a fulfilling part of who I am. I take pride in creating a warm, supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to grow.
