About Melody
Have you ever wondered how high-level mathematical theory actually solves practical problems in the real world? My career spans 13 years in the industry following a PhD in Statistics from Stanford University, which shaped how I view numerical challenges.
I currently apply this technical lens to help kids and struggling students master geometry, mensuration, and fundamental problem-solving strategies. My lessons integrate Vedic math and mental math to build confidence before moving into complex linear algebra or SAT and ACT prep. Conceptual learning is the bedrock of my teaching, as I prefer to deconstruct difficult topics into manageable pieces. A whiteboard session usually starts with me breaking down a specific proof or equation into its simplest variables. I leverage my 3 years of experience to ensure you grasp the logic before you attempt a single problem. Math requires active participation.
