I am a recent phd graduate in philosophy. I worked as a teacher assistant for 7 years where I had the chance to interact and supervise students from a diverse backgrounds. I also worked as a research assistant for 2 years.

As a philosophy teacher, the following pedagogical principles guide my teaching: I put emphasis on the transferable skills of writing and analytical reasoning that are gained from studying philosophy; 2) prepare students for upper year philosophy courses and mentor them to achieve higher success as they move forward both in their education and also career, 3. I aim to foster a cooperative and interactive learning environment that is inclusive and receptive to diverse learning styles.
One of my goals as a teacher is to help students develop academically, individually and in their careers. My goal in teaching is to help students develop analytical reasoning and writing skills, and to help them transfer these skills to the workforce. As such, I help students gain transferable skills that are resources for a broad range of careers, such as critical analysis, problem solving, and clear communication.
