About Srayasee
Hello, I am an IIT alumnus with an MSc in physics.
I teach Physics to high school and undergraduate students, and my main focus is helping students understand concepts clearly rather than relying solely on memorization. I try to explain topics in a simple, intuitive way, and I adapt my teaching style to how each student learns best.
In my classes, we work through both theory and problem-solving step by step, so students can build confidence along with understanding. I encourage questions and aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to think and discuss openly. I use separate techniques for school-level and undergraduate-level classes.
For school-level classes, including JEE preparation, I focus equally on concepts and problem-solving skills. I try to familiarize my students with different types of problems that can be asked about a single concept. I start from the basics and slowly increase the difficulty level. A clear concept is very important for JEE-level problems, along with practice. My classes are structured as follows: an introduction and the concept's intent, an intuitive explanation, the mathematical background, and the exploration of numerical problems. Asking doubts is encouraged in my classes.
For undergraduate-level physics, the approach is more focused on understanding the physics concepts and exploring their implications. I teach mathematical derivations and problem-solving extensively in class if students require it. I try to encourage students to practice learning the mathematical background on their own so that they are self-reliant and capable of university-level learning and research.
