About David Stuart

I am down to earth and enthusiastic about my career, learning, and life experience. I strive for students to reach their potential no matter the circumstances. I am flexible and can travel. I am fun and certainly not one to dribble on. I am 36 years old and live in Sheffield. I recently had an Enhanced DBS check. I came here in 2016 to start my greatest achievement that hasn't ended. I learnt the power of education, and what it can bring to many areas of life. I love football, especially Manchester United, baking and nature.

About the lesson

I have vast experience working with and teaching GCSE and SEN pupils, and those who want to achieve academic brilliance, especially in healthcare or a medical field. I have also worked with university students who want that " perfect assignment". I must stress this is my biggest area of expertise. I can prepare any aged student for a career in healthcare and further afield. I have experience of working as a postgraduate nurse on the front line during COVID. Tutoring can be online or in person, depending on your preferable learning environment. My lessons are evidence-based and follow a very specific format, again depending on subject matter. All my lessons also finish with a brainstorm of a certain topic for the next lesson/period of learning and why it's important. I am passionate, enthusiastic and strive to ignite the spark of curiosity and wonder of the human body and much more. For GCSE learners, we use the current curriculum as the perfect guide and instrument to explore further why GCSE Biology matters in healthcare. For more advanced learners, we explore the topic with enthusiasm and a little fun. Research for advanced learners will be a critical area to master for any discipline, especially healthcare. I can help with assignments, exams, thesis questions, research, writing, referencing and proofreading and modification, if required. We work at your pace. No rush. No judgement. Just honest help and support to achieve your goals, however big or small. The first free session will entail a complete and honest conversation on what you would like to achieve and how we can do it. Getting to know each other, and what areas you are strong at, and what areas need more time. Furthermore, I also worked at The University of Sheffield as a senior ambassador so I am acutely aware of the application process, financing and accommodation advice.

I charge a flat fee of £18 per hour, with a one hour minimum. Up to 8 hours and more if urgently needed. A Bulk package is advised if there's a lot to go through and/or the level of learner. Exam preparation as and when desired. Thank you.
