Hi! My name is Alissa, and I am passionate about helping children build confidence and succeed in their learning. I hold diplomas in Early Childhood Education and Child and Youth Care, both earned with distinction, and have six years of experience working with children and youth in daycare, community group care, life-space programs, and camp settings.
I believe every child learns differently, so I take the time to understand each student's strengths, interests, and learning style. My goal is to create a positive, patient, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.

My lessons are best suited for preschool and elementary-aged children, particularly those who benefit from individualized support in literacy, early numeracy, homework help, social-emotional development, and study skills.
