About Danielle
I began tutoring French after finishing my Bachelor of Education, and it has now been 9 years. A young learner who disliked grammar drills became engaged once we added role-play activities. I helped a traveler prepare enough French to navigate a trip through Paris confidently.
I helped a beginner progress from basic greetings to full conversations within a year. Each student is different, so I adapt my methods to fit their pace. I believe learning French should feel practical and connected to real life.
My goal is always to make French feel approachable rather than intimidating. I focus on building strong fundamentals before moving to advanced topics. I use a mix of practice, feedback, and real examples in every lesson.
I enjoy watching students go from hesitant to confident with steady practice. My lessons are structured but flexible, adjusting to how each student learns best. Feel free to message me and we can plan the best path forward together.

For DELF and DALF preparation, we practice past exam questions regularly. Lessons often open with light conversation to get students speaking right away. Reading practice uses simple texts that match each student's current level.
Speaking confidence grows through low pressure conversation practice each week. Listening practice includes French songs, interviews and short news clips. Business French sessions cover emails, phone calls and workplace vocabulary.
Grammar points are introduced through examples before any formal explanation. Pronunciation improves through repetition, recordings and gentle correction. Cultural notes about France and francophone countries are shared throughout lessons.
Students preparing for study abroad get extra practice with everyday dialogues. Writing exercises build gradually from short notes to full paragraphs. Vocabulary is grouped by themes such as daily routines and travel.
