About Danielle
I began tutoring English after finishing my Bachelor of Education, and it has now been 9 years. I once helped a shy student gain confidence in public speaking through weekly small presentations. One of my students overcame her fear of interviews after several rounds of mock practice sessions.
A student preparing for IELTS improved two full band scores after months of steady practice together. Patience and encouragement are central to how I teach every student. I enjoy watching students go from hesitant to confident with steady practice.
My goal is always to make English feel approachable rather than intimidating. My lessons are structured but flexible, adjusting to how each student learns best. Each student is different, so I adapt my methods to fit their pace.
I focus on building strong fundamentals before moving to advanced topics. I believe learning English should feel practical and connected to real life. Feel free to message me and we can plan the best path forward together.

For exam preparation such as IELTS or TOEFL, we focus on timed practice tests. Business English sessions include email writing and mock interview practice. Every lesson ends with a quick review to reinforce what was learned.
We work on reading comprehension using articles that match each student's interest. Vocabulary building happens through games and daily word challenges rather than dull memorization. Listening exercises use podcasts and short clips to build comprehension.
Literature discussions help advanced students think critically about themes and characters. Pronunciation drills are kept light and fun, using tongue twisters and recordings. For example, when teaching tenses I use short stories so students see the rules in action.
Speaking practice often involves mock conversations based on real life situations. Writing practice includes both academic essays and creative short pieces. I encourage students to keep a journal to build writing fluency naturally.
