About Andrea
During my A-Level studies I helped a number of students with Spanish lessons throughout the two years. Mainly, I helped them with speaking and grammar (i.e. accents, etc...) exercises, this resulted in their mock exams results improving as well as their confidence speaking the language.

I am a very passionate person that enjoys teaching my subject and watching the evolution of my pupils.
My lessons are geared towards those students who are drawn to languages, especially the ones concerning the Iberian and Latin American culture and wish to learn Spanish.
The structure of the lessons consists of starting with a solid understanding of grammar as I have found this is the area which students struggle with the most at first, followed by conjugations. We would then move onto vocabulary, separated in different topics, for easier understanding. Once the student feels more comfortable with the language, will then engage in oral exercises.
In my opinion and experience learning languages, I believe an easy and interactive way of familiarizing oneself with said language is through reading books, watching films/series and/or songs from that country, that is why, apart from the work I do with the students, I will strongly encourage them to engage in all of these activities as part of homework or personal interest.
