About Roberto

I am passionate about languages, communication, and helping students achieve their goals in a supportive and motivating environment. Throughout my experience as a tutor, I have worked with students of different ages, backgrounds, and language levels, always adapting my teaching methods to suit each learner’s needs and learning style.
My academic background in Translation and Interpreting has given me a strong understanding of grammar, pronunciation, intercultural communication, and language learning techniques. In addition to teaching, I also have experience in translation, proofreading, and audiovisual translation, which allows me to provide students with practical and authentic language knowledge.
I take my work seriously and always aim to create professional, organised, and engaging lessons where students feel comfortable, confident, and encouraged to improve. Whether you are learning for school, work, travel, exams, or personal interest, I will help you build your skills step by step at your own pace.
I believe that learning a language should be both effective and enjoyable, and my goal is to help every student become more confident and fluent through personalised and interactive lessons.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is flexible, communicative, and student-centred. I adapt every lesson to the student’s goals, whether you want to improve grammar, conversation, pronunciation, writing, listening skills, or prepare for exams, travel, work, or everyday communication. I believe languages are learnt through practice, confidence, and interaction, so my lessons are engaging and practical rather than based only on memorisation.
I use a variety of materials and techniques, including conversations, role-plays, authentic texts, audiovisual content, grammar exercises, and cultural topics to make lessons dynamic and enjoyable. I also help students develop confidence and fluency in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Lessons usually last 60 minutes, but I can adapt the duration depending on the student’s needs and availability.
As a graduate in Translation and Interpreting, I have a strong understanding of languages, communication, grammar, and intercultural skills. Alongside teaching, I also have experience in translation, proofreading, and audiovisual translation.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, as well as children, teenagers, university students, and adults who want to learn Spanish or Italian for personal, academic, or professional reasons.
