I have a BA in History and work with children's groups teaching them American history. I also have Master of Arts in Human Services counseling and am a board certified master mental health coach. I recently received a MBA in HR and am working on my doctorate in marriage and family therapy

I prefer to explain things to the student and then ask them to repeat back what they understood. For something they didn't understand, we will review until they do. I also give quizzes and try to help them develop memory techniques
