About Ila
I have a BA in History from TMU (Formerly Ryerson) where I studied European Empires from the 16th to 20th century, completing an undergraduate Thesis on the period of time between the Paris Peace Conference in 1919 and Dawes in 1924. I spent 7 years between my Undergrad and Graduate studies working in an office. I decided that I wanted to continue my academic studies, so I returned to University, this time to McMaster where I am nearly done with my Master's in Globalization. My final project is on Q of QAnon, and historically locating that figure on original forums.

I have an expansive understanding of European History from the 16th to 20th Century, primarily focusing on the British and French Empires and their related colonies. In my undergrad I was instructed in Post-Colonial theory, in my Master's Studies I have continued to work in post-colonial directions, but chosen to focus on 21st century modern reactionary online culture.
