I have Masters degrees in education and history along with a military background. The military has taken me to many parts of the world and around the country. I also have four children of my own who have done well academically.

I love to tell stories many coming from my travels. I also like to use projects and help students understand the value of research- a student who can research can teach his or herself many things. I use lecture when needed but helping a student relate to personalities and culture from history creates a greater connection.
