About Sophia
I am a student who currently studies a History MA in Scotland. I have taken AP World, United States, and European History and received 5s on all of them. I have also received a 100 on one of my Global History and Geography regents and a 99 on my United States history regents. This is a subject I have always been passionate about and I have always aimed to do my best. I have tutored history since a year in the United States and when I am in Europe, I will continue to tutor there. I hope to become a teacher myself.

I like to approach each theme and topic in history positively and passionately. When I teach history, I present my students by zooming out the camera lens to get a general picture, and afterwards become increasingly specific to time period and region. I understand that history is a difficult subject, but I will always try to keep my students passionate and interested. I try to instill a positive confidence and reinforcement in my students so they believe that they can complete even the most difficult of tasks.
