About Cormac
Hello! I am Cormac, based near Manchester, currently reading History at Oxford. I have always been obsessed with History (my niche being medieval and ecclesial study), and getting to do this full time is a dream come true. I wish to help students get the best opportunity to be similarly satisfied.
Coming from a state school, my personal drive and hobbies (for instance a medium-sized History YouTube channel), put me in a good position to impress my tutors. Many people can achieve A*s, 9s and prestigious courses with the right help, and personalised feedback. I hope to allow students to flourish in that way!

Oxbridge and essay competition help also offered, insights into the interview process, source evaluation, analytical skills &c. I have many exclusive and genuine sources to draw from. So far, I have done this for 4 successful Oxbridge applicants. Also advice on how to write successful essays for competitions.
I can teach on a range of Historical topics and English Literature at A Level. I will go over techniques from my own experience (which got me 20 marks+ over the A*). I will mark essays as homework and help students understand how to improve with 1-1 in person tuition, based on mark schemes and practice. This will be for 1 hour sessions, also available for GCSE RE, History, English Literature and Language.
For GCSE, A-Level and Oxbridge aspirational students.
