I'm a history loving, motorbike riding bookworm who works in Television Production. I recently finished a Masters at SOAS in Film and History, and before that a BA in History at Oxford. I've been incredibly lucky with the education i've had in my past and it has opened up so many doors for me and allowed me to see the world in a different way. I've taught in China and here in England as a tutor from basic english to A Level History. I'm enthusiastic and have a real passion for story telling. In the historical documentaries i work on i have realised the importance of making topics exciting and i believe this is true of tutoring. In the limited amount of time you have you need to catch your tutees imagination, let them learn from stories rather than tables and fact sheets using these details to tell the larger story in their own way. I teach History to Undergraduate level, English to A level both language and literature.
