Sarah and I worked at a large classical school in Virginia; we even shared an office. Because of that, I developed two major observations about her.

First, she has a passion for her subjects, primarily Literature, Writing, and Latin. I watched her labor over her lessons—she is creative and brilliant, and her classrooms reflected that.

Second, her students love her. They would crowd into her side of our office just to chat, laugh, and tell jokes. All her students showed up for her wedding. The relationships that she builds with her students draw them into her teaching—they are eager to learn from her.
