About Álvaro
I consider the study of human history and geography as moral imperatives for preparing the youth for the future; it is important for them to be aware of the world they live in, where it comes from, and the responsibility they have for the directions it may take. I want to help students understand that memory is more than simply memorizing dates and illustrious names and that they are uniquely positioned to enrich themselves by exploring different personal perspectives across time and space (a task for which languages are of great help).

My methodology is characterized by a unique and individualized approach, tailored to each student based not only on their shortcomings and needs but also on their strengths, interests, and personality. I use the latter as a bridge to connect with the most difficult or tedious parts of the curriculum, making it more enjoyable and striving to make it a part of their daily lives (without disrupting other subjects or activities).
