About Manila
I am a recent graduate from the University of York with a BA in History. I have previously worked at Kumon and helped children aged 4-16 with their English work. I would often work with children individually and many saw an improvement in their reading, spelling and overall improvement in their writing ability.

I am aiming to teach students at GCSE level or below. My approach to teaching is working directly with the student to discuss how they want to improve and make a plan on how we will be able to achieve this. I will also give them suggestions on activities to do outside of classes which will also help track their progress. With each topic I plan to start with what the student finds the most difficult and work our way from there.
