About Nick
I taught weekly History lessons to small groups of A level students for two years at St Thomas More's School during my undergraduate degree in History at UCL. I have also offered one to one tuition on a private basis for History A level.

I place a heavy emphasis on two-way communication during my classes. I think it is essential for the student to be constantly engaged by allowing them to try to reach the answers themselves.
The focus of my lessons is split between firstly fundamental essay writing techniques and secondly helping the student to understand the broader concepts and tricky subject matters at stake. I bring my own lesson plans to achieve this but am also arrive to each lesson ready to be adaptable to each student's particular needs.
Each of my lessons are structured towards towards the main target of the student, whether that's an important public exam or weekly support with tricky lesson.
I hold a first class honours degree in History from UCL and try to implement some of the tutoring styles I received during my undergraduate in the lessons I teach.
