About Elsa
I am a graduate of the University of Chichester, with a degree in Medieval and early modern history, specialising in the study of religious history and the Counter-Reformation, having conducted sustained independent research for a dissertation on the Rosary and its place in the Counter-Reformation. I am seeking to disseminate the knowledge and skills gained during the course of study, with a view to encouraging others in academic study in a practical way, through giving guidance on approaching the study of history, not just for the sake of helping students to pass exams, but to foster interest in specific areas of history and the ability to think critically.

I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Chichester in Medieval and early modern history (BA Hons). Lessons will be discussion based, prioritising students' individual needs and specific areas for focus and improvement, with the aim of implementing skills that will enable them to approach a range of historical subjects through analysis and critical thinking. Lessons will typically be 60 mins, although I am perfectly willing to allow an extra 15 - 30 mins if required. Lessons are aimed at A level students
