I like to use a variety of methods in my teaching. Firstly, I like to spend the first few minutes of every session boding with my student in some way. Then I move on to discuss what they feel they want to work on in todays session combined with my own lesson plan for the day. I like to work with them and often ask them to teach me things to confirm learning. At the end I like to go over learning strategies for when I’m not there and how they can best support themselves. I always finish the lesson with a recap and goals for the following session.
