About Machdel
I am Machdel Basson and has been an art teacher the pass 35 years. Have graduate at university of Stellenbosch with history of art as one of my major subject. Painting and drawing part of my 4 year cause. I specialised in didactics of school art.

My idea is to give practical art lessons in drawing and painting. Watercolours , acryl and oil. Foundation school of drawing and painting. Discipline art eduacation. Focusing on history of art , formal elements of art , drawing and painting. Through art appreciation of history of art plus doing practical work,my aim is to NOt only do techniques with a wide range of media but to give my students depth in their knowledge of art and to underSTand how art evolve through the ages till today. Understand their own processes and techniqueS. It all about art appreciation. I am fluent in english and afrikaans.
