About Thomas
Hi! I'm Tom, a recent First Class History and Politics graduate from the University of Oxford. I love helping students succeed, and I'm especially interested in helping students improve their essay writing skills, and develop a deeper understanding of key subject areas. Outside of tutoring, I'm a passionate cook and a massive bookworm!

My main priority is helping students to develop their own independent interest in a subject, while improving their essay writing skills. I like to set additional tasks to be completed and marked outside of tutoring hours, which give me a much better understanding of a student's strengths and weaknesses. In a tutorial I try to create a welcoming and non-pressurised environment, and help to build students' confidence.
