Hello! I'm passionate about history and excited to share that with you. With a degree in History and Ancient History, I’ve spent years exploring how our past shapes the world we live in today. I believe that understanding history gives us the tools to think critically, ask big questions, and see things from new perspectives in the professional world

Approach to Tutoring:
I aim to make history engaging by connecting past events with students' current understanding. My focus is on building critical thinking, analysis, and essay-writing skills, helping students see history as a web of interconnected ideas.
Techniques and Methodology:
Lessons are tailored to individual needs and include discussions, source analysis, and practice questions. For exam-focused students, I emphasize mastering question analysis, structuring responses, and time management, using visual aids and debates to reinforce learning.
Lesson Length:
Sessions typically last 60 minutes, with 90-minute options for more intensive support.
Qualifications and Experience:
With a degree in History and Ancient History and experience with the International Baccalaureate I help learners boost grades and deepen their interest in history.
Who the Lessons Are For:
I work predominantly with UK students, aged 14-18, preparing for GCSE and IB level exams, as well as those seeking extra support in history. Sessions can also be tailored for younger students not focussed on exam prep if needed.
