About Shelby
Hello! My name is Shelby, and I’m an 11th-grade homeschooled student with a deep passion for guitar. I’ve been playing for 8 years across a variety of genres—my heart lies in rock and metal, but I also love exploring country, folk, indie, and more. As a homeschooler, I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to adapt to your needs. Guitar has been a constant companion in my life, giving me peace and joy, and I’m self-taught—everything I know, from chords to techniques, I’ve learned on my own through books, videos, and practice. I was in choir from second to eighth grade, so I can read music and play keyboard and drums as well—music truly is my whole world. Most importantly, I love helping others discover the joy of guitar. Whether you’re just starting or eager to grow your skills, I’ll guide you with patience and enthusiasm, so we can make every step of your guitar journey a rewarding one.
