I am a recent high-school graduate from Sydney Grammar School with a 99.10 ATAR and a history of very successful English marks (top 15 in the year 4 years running), as well as solid Band 6s/E4s in the 4 units of English which I undertook.

English is all about deconstructing the context and peripheral information of the book through the words on the page, and engaging in a discussion about the broader themes and ideas at play in this discussion fashion is necessary to truely understand any good text. Breaking down texts chapter by chapter, and then piecing all the puzzles back together again I believe allows any student to have the framework to put together the perfect essay or response.
