About Jayne
For the past 15 years, I have been teaching violin to a wide range of students, including school children, college students, and working professionals. My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning enjoyable, motivating, and personalised.
I emphasise technical skill, music reading, and expressive playing, while also encouraging performance practice to build confidence. I have taught over 200 students who have successfully participated in recitals, competitions, and concerts.
My goal is to help students develop a strong musical foundation while fostering creativity and self-expression, making the violin a source of joy and personal growth for each student.

My teaching methodology emphasises compassion, communication, and encouragement. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to their unique pace, style, and interests.
I use clear explanations and demonstrations to simplify violin techniques and music concepts. Students are encouraged to ask questions, try new ideas, and explore their own musical expression.
Being supportive is at the heart of my teaching. I celebrate successes, guide students through challenges, and create lessons that build confidence and skill while keeping learning enjoyable.
I also teach other subjects with the same caring and communicative approach. My aim is to nurture creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love for learning.
