About ABEL

I am a Health Records and Information Management graduate, I have 8 years of teaching/tutoring experience, majors in Nursing; adult health nursing, mental health nursing, learning disability nursing and child nursing. Also, versed in other areas like social work, special education needs and disability, Research and medical genetics. Abel only teaches/tutors areas he is confident in, helping students grow into confident, patient-centred professionals is the most rewarding part of my career. Welcome!

About the lesson

Hello, I’m Abel, an experienced Nurse Tutor offering personalised support from UK Level 3 Diploma through Level 7 MSc. Every session is mapped to the NMC Code, blending core theory with key practice competency skills so you can translate knowledge into safe, confident practice. We will strengthen your grasp of nursing modules including evidence‑based care, then apply it through case studies, skills demonstrations, and reflective discussion. You will also master research methods: framing research questions, running database searches, appraising papers with CASP, and building complete research skills at top level. Lessons run 60–90 minutes on Zoom or Teams, using interactive whiteboards, formative quizzes, and take‑home study packs. Each meeting ends with a personalised competency checklist so you always know your next step. Whether you are revising for OSCEs, refreshing CPD, or tackling a dissertation, I will tailor a clear, motivating learning pathway that matches your goals, pace, and preferred learning style.
