About Precious
Ive always been the helping hand around my classes from the young age of 7. I'd always lend help to those around me. I enjoyed the feeling of using my knowledge to help someone understand what i know.
i carried this on to secondary school where i was asked to help around in my maths department, giving the younger students a little extra help. I decided to take this on professionally and joined tutoring companies that would pair you with people around London. Seeing progression, not only academically, but with everything in life is always rewarding to me.
I currently hold a bachelor's degree in mathematics.

My approach is understanding where a child is and where they want to be. This means understanding their strengths and what they need to improve on. Developing a plan where they can use what they're confident to help their not so strong areas is always great in improving their confidence. I begin with ensuring the foundations of maths is understood before i start anything complex. Throughout my maths education i've learned that the subject is loads of small blocks being constantly built on. Without a proper and thorough foundation, the topics will be hard to fully understand.
I also strongly believe in group work. Learning from your peers is a very effective learning method. It is almost impossible to understand 100% of what you're being taught all the time. Although in a group, chances are someone in the group will, and there can be an exchange of knowledge.
