About Kenneth
I am a seasoned NYC-based musician and teacher with a degree in Jazz Composition from Berklee College of Music. I play and teach the Guitar, Electric Bass, and Piano, and listen and play every style that I can get my hands/ ears on. My love of teaching and playing has allowed me to build an extensive network in the NYC music scene, and has also connected me to many different wonderful students, all on different stages of their musical journey. I have a very deep passion for teaching and watching people grow and evolve, and I love having an opportunity to help someone grow and progress in reaching their goals. For me, one of the most rewarding aspects of teaching is watching students achieve a milestone that they did not think they could reach, and seeing the confidence that emerges as a result of the progress. I develop deep and long-standing relationships with my students, and I am very grateful and proud to have the opportunity to spread my knowledge to everyone I can.

My lessons and lesson plans are always tailored towards my students' specific goals. Whether you want to shred some Joe Satriani, lose yourself in Villa-Lobos' compositions, understand the intricacies of Beethoven, or learn how to improvise over any song with complete freedom, I can create an ideal lesson & practice plan that allows you to achieve your goals. My versatility as a musician is something that sets me apart drastically from other teachers. My extensive knowledge of the classical guitar, rock and metal guitar, and jazz guitar allows me to play and teach essentially all genres. Furthermore, my experience with playing/teaching the piano allows me to dive into songs and genres that are not just guitar-oriented, which massively opens up my ability to teach all styles. My lessons are open to people of ALL skill levels. I have very advanced high-level students who are in college/ playing at a college level, and I have people who are just picking up their instrument and learning their first tunes and chords.
