About Jacob
I've been a teacher for over 15 years, working mostly in numeracy and literacy and specialising in English language, writing, exam prep and speaking/pronunciation.
My approach is all about enjoying classes, loving the subject and helping my students to learn in a way that suits them so that they get the most out of their time. I keep it relaxed, never pressure students and I believe that positive reinforcement, a calm presence and humour are all key to progress.

I take an experiential approach to teaching as I believe that doing things (such as activities, projects, playing appropriate games) and using skills, language, etc is the best way to learn. I pay great attention to detail and will always correct students where necessary.
